What does VOC means

VOC = Volatile Organic Compounds

When a can of coating is opened, its content start evaporating. This happens because the coating contains components that are volatile.

Some of them do emit vapours that can be very harmful for nature, animals, humans as well as the entire environment.

These harmful components are named VOC. In general, coatings are classified as 0 VOC when their content of volatile organic compounds is less than 5 g / L.

APE or APEO

APE or APEO are very harmful chemical substances, highly carcinogenic and never ever degradable !

Their use is actually banned in Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and in many other countries.

But unfortunately in most emerging countries, their use is permitted. Therefore this situation is still abused by too many manufacturers -.

NO dangerous Component like APE or APEO = NO Toxicity = 0 VOC
All nasacoat coatings do not contain any kind of toxic or APE / APEO components and they do not emit harmful vapors. Therefore, they are classified as 0 VOC coatings.
